As a Founder and Managing Partner, Tamara is responsible for overseeing all Operations for Cardiac RMS including growth strategies to recruit, retain and motivate all team members to deliver quality care.
Tamara is a board-certified Registered Nurse who, soon after starting her cardiac nursing care career at Albany Medical Center, transitioned to a nurse clinician in the electrophysiology department and conducted several device and drug research studies to test innovative medication and device options for patients suffering from heart arrhythmias.
Intent on capitalizing on her college education in Business Administration, coupled with a strong desire to continue interacting with, and educating, patients, staff, and physicians, Tamara spent the majority of her career as a Sales Representative for Boston Scientific (formerly Intermedics/Guidant Corporation). This inspired Tamara’s passion to explore innovative options to efficiently improve the standard of care.
Tamara has a passion for martial arts, and is a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She enjoys this with her three children, who are also black-belts.
Keeping device patients connected to remote monitoring takes more than technology—it takes the right processes, follow-up, and patient engagement. The Connected Patient: A Field Guide from Cardiac RMS shares practical strategies for enrollment, first transmissions, ongoing connectivity, reconnection, and more. It also gives you a closer look at the real-world workflow, staffing demands, and patient touchpoints that can make the difference between simply enrolling patients and keeping them consistently connected.
